Remove the Landscaping & Topsoil

All topsoil is carefully maintained for reuse upon completion of the project.

Excavating Around the Foundation

The soil is excavated and hauled away.

Washing & Sealing the Area

The area is cleaned, all cracks are repaired, and unprotected areas are coated.

Install a Membrane

Once dry, a waterproofing membrane is rolled onto the foundation.

Installing the Drain Pipes

PVC drain pipes are installed with cleanouts to ensure easy inspection and maintenance in the future.

City Inspection & Soil Backfill

Once approved by the Shaker Heights city building department, the trench is filled with gravel and your top soil is reinstalled, completing your project.

Maintaining Your Sewer Pipes

Proper pipe maintenance will extend the life of the piping around the foundation, reducing the risk of sewer backup and basement seepage.
